Greater Middleborough/Lakeville Persian Gulf Family Support Group Meets Bi-weekly

We’ve been meeting for over 18 months now, said Paul Provencher, and aside from the good natured ribbing of our one Yankees Fan and the poor wife that has to put up with him, this has been a gathering of folks from our community that shares a common bond. They’ve seen their sons, daughters, relatives and friends off to war. The daily military action in the Persian Gulf has a more personal meaning to this group, as they reflect back on their personal experiences of dealing with the past deployments of their loved ones. "We’re just there for each other as we hope for a quick resolution of the conflict and the safe return of the troops that are still in harms way" said Middleboroughs Veterans’ Services Officer (VSO) Paul Provencher.
